Software Architect needed for a global SaaS leader. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in web application development in the SaaS space, a solid understanding of cloud architecture and technology systems, as well as experience designing applications in and/or moving applications to the cloud.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in development, architecture, and engineering
- 3+ years of experience designing, executing and supporting cloud applications
- Extensive knowledge of a variety of programming languages: C#/.Net, Java, Node.js
- Experience with ticket/release management tools, e.g., Jira
- Extensive experience with RESTful Web Services
Responsibilities
- Be a hands-on software developer
- Evaluate, identify, and develop software solutions
- Create a well-informed cloud strategy and manage the adoption process
- Regularly evaluate cloud applications, infrastructure, and software
- Develop and organize cloud systems
- Work closely with DevSecOps to monitor the company’s cloud privacy and security
- Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner
- Identify the top cloud architecture solutions to successfully meet the strategic needs of the company
- Develop and coordinate cloud architecture and infrastructure across diverse areas including application development, identity, and access management, and network and data management
