Unity Developer is required for a London-based tech start-up who are building a revolutionary new platform that connects players to real-life everyday Adventures through gamified social activities.

This position will focus on working on a Mobile App built primarily with Unity. You should be comfortable with Unity’s engine, its UI systems, development frameworks, and third-party libraries. You will report directly to one of the founders as part of a small but growing engineering team.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with other team members across all other disciplines (Design, Illustration, Audio) to establish effective pipelines and integrate media assets.
• Translate design specifications into a functional game/app.
• Build a codebase that can be iterated during development and is maintainable after release.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to address and mitigate these problems.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of commercial experience
• Solid understanding and experience in writing games in Unity/C#
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Experience with UI development under the UGUI framework (UI Toolki knowledge is a bonus)
• Ability to constantly learn and stay in touch with evolving game standards and development technologies.
• Experience with 3D would be highly desirable
