Backend Engineer required for a growing SaaS company that is expanding its engineering function. This role requires a hands-on Software engineer with experience working within an Agile environment. Working with the product and engineering team to refine and build new features.

This role requires someone who is naturally curious about tech, has keen attention to detail, and is able to take problems and solve them as part of a team or independently. You will work predominantly on the backend of the application whilst having the opportunity to contribute to the whole platform.

Desired Skills

➡️ Minimum 3 years of professional software engineering experience

➡️ Experience in developing database objects and integrating database systems like MySQL or SQL Server

➡️ Strong coding skills (Javascript/Typescript, Node.js)

➡️ Experience with AWS Stack

➡️ Knowledge of React is a plus

➡️ Excellent communication and written skills

➡️ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline

➡️ It would be highly desirable to have previously worked in a start-up environment
